Club Competitions Sailing Overview
MBC run a Summer and Winter Racing series on Saturdays
and Wednesdays.
The Winter Series runs from the end of Daylight Savings
to the Start of Daylight Savings.
The Summer Series runs from the start of Daylight Savings
to the end of Daylight savings.
Divisions Raced
Lightweights – Sailors under 85 Kg.
Heavyweights – Sailors over 85 Kg.
Cruisers – Social and New Sailors.
Saturday Club Competition
A weekly competition raced on the first four Saturday’s of each month.
(If there are 5 Saturdays in a month we run a fun event on the 5th One)
Details:
Briefing is at 12:55 pm with racing starting at 1:00 pm
(Wind Permitting) , Last Race to start no later than 4:30 pm.
Entry: No entry fee. (All financial club members automatically
entered.)
Non financial members or visitors can enter on the day ($10)
Divisions: Cruisers, Lights and Heavies .
When numbers are sufficient, each division races separately.
All participants must have transponders for results to be recorded.

Opportunities for all ages & level of experience.

Wednesday Club Competition (Lazy Boy & Girl Comp)
Briefing is at 1:55 pm with racing starting at 2:00 pm
(Wind Permitting) , Last Race to start no later than 4:30 pm.
Entry: No entry fee. Automatic entry on the day.
Divisions: Lights and Heavies. (No Cruisers)
Note: All participants must have transponders for results to be
recorded.
